Im back from brunei alr and the experience there is really one of a kind..
the bunk is wonderful in the sense that all 80 ppl are in 1 room and its a double decker style..
so cool..
but the dumb thing is that there are cicadas flying around.. and if any1 of them flys accidentally into the fan, you will have cicada juice and body parts all over ur bed the next moment..
how cool is that right.. i experienced it the 1st night there..
R and R (rest & recreation) should be renamed M and M as the places they brought us to was Mosque and Museum.. i know its dumb but still... buffet lunch and buffet dinner there helped me put on all the weight i have lost.
now that brunei is over.. im looking forward to july where i will be gg to thailand.. :)

I have already spent 4 weeks at Khatib camp and i must say the culture there is indeed different. Many sleep breaks and time to relax with nightsnack ever night.
But i cant deny that we do work hard. Not on the physical side thou, but on the mental side. The amount of lectures we had to sit through. Imagine lectures from 8am -5pm with occasional breaks in between. Its a torture sitting through them.
We also had to do a lot of calculations as misculation by a few degress of the gun could mean that the arty bomb land a few hundred metres away and that was definitely dangerous. Other than that, everything is pretty interesting for now as we continue to learn various new things. There are lots of them which i cant reveal here of course.
Also, i'll be leaving on the 30th for Brunei. Our 1st overseas training. Wish me Luck!!

Haven had anything interesting to blog in a long time as my life is basically all about the army and occasional book outs on saturdays.
Service term for us finally ended on Wednesday with the 23km route march that started from 8pm the night before all the way till 3am before ending on top of a hill where we received our new rank.
Later that night was our social night and it was also the last time we are together as a platoon as some of us will be crossing over to artillery. Thanks! Coz im one of them.. hahahahs..
Up next was Alvin's Chalet.. the 1st among us to turn 21. Happy Birthday Man!

2day is our GREAT DAY!!!
1000 situps each in 51 minutes..
that will definitely be a record for time to come..
and we completed 100,000 situps on a wing level..

there nothing to describe how much pain there is..
some ppl even suffered abrasion at the ass.. hahahs..
and 10 FEB will be a GREAT day..
coz we be doing about 1100 situps each on that day!!
